THE RESTORATION OF THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS IS COMPLETE!

A great Christmas gift was given to Immaculate Conception. The restoration of the Stations of the Cross was completed.

They were hung up in church on Sunday, December 13, 2020 by  Bob Adams and Frank Ireland.

It was a long process but the results are beautiful. The painting and repair of the actual station figures was done by Sister Petrann Sieben and Lis Caspary up at the Ceramic Haven at Good Counsel.

The frames were constructed by Jerry Scheafer from Madison Lake. The trees were cut from the area. The wood was cut, shaped, and stained each one individually for each station.

Our donations to complete the restoration came from wonderful parishioners: Charles and Carol Grams, Muggs Zabel, and Ronald and Jean Kruse.

The Stations of the Cross at Immaculate Conception Church are in the process of being refurbished. The paint was blistering and a few pieces needed repair. The stations were taken down from the church walls and were found to be in much needed repair reinforcement of the backs.

The repair is being made by Sister Petrann Sieben and her helpers at Ceramic Haven at Good Council in Mankato.
