All Saints Academy Childcare

General Information

Loving   and caring for other people's children takes a loving and caring person.

We believe, with all of our heart, that we have the best!

We thank our staff for continuing to make All Saints Academy a place where families want to be!

  • HOW WE STARTED - All Saints began a childcare program in 2007 to meet the needs of the parish and greater community. As our Catholic School was phasing out, we decided to continue to care for children in our building.  While the needs of families have evolved, we now continue to care for children in the same place our All Saints School started doing in 1907.  There is a great need for childcare everywhere, and rural communities in particular struggle to have enough childcare openings. We know families suffer as a result of this shortage.  Over the nearly 2 decades of our existence, we have cared for more than 1,200 children, with many being in our care for 9 or 10 hours a day.
  • OUR STAFF - We employ around 25 staff whom all receive training to meet state requirements and very importantly have a dedication to giving the very best possible care to the children.
  • OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR DAYS - We believe in nurturing the children academically, emotionally, socially and physically. Each classroom has a curriculum and is teaching the children at their appropriate age level. Each Day we have circle time, learning centers (art, sensory, language, math, and science activities), and large motor activities. We focus on being sure our children are ready both socially and emotionally for kindergarten by helping them with taking turns, playing with peers, and participating in pretend play. We also help teach them to manage and express emotions in a healthy manner.
  • We have beautiful, secure, fenced in, lakeside playgrounds and make sure the children get fresh air and exercise every day. If the temperature/windchill is above 0 degrees and it's not raining, the children generally are outside in the afternoon and work on their large motor skills. They receive nutritious meals and snacks according the federal food program guidelines. Nap is a quiet time around our campus and helps them to grow and be comfortable and well rested when they go home.
  • Our New Addition - In 2025 we began a capital campaign in the parish to remodel our church and to build a new addition with administrative offices and a new infant area. The new infant childcare rooms are secure and comfortable and a great addition to our efforts to provide quality childcare. The new infant rooms are state of the art and with bright natural light and in-floor heat. A special crib room is a quiet space for the little ones to nap. And we have improved our security with a central monitored, locked entrance accessible with key fobs, which parents use for entry.
  • Our Philosophy - We believe in investing in a strong partnership with families and our community. Children of all races, creeds, national origin, and religions are welcome. We believe in our children, our world, and our future.
  • Our Childcare Center is fully licensed by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families for 98 children: 24 infants(6 weeks to 20 months), 28 toddlers (20 months to 33 months) and 46 preschoolers (33 months to school age).
